Andrew Johnson is the Co-Owner and President of Construction Materials Services, Inc. (CMS) in Locust Grove, Georgia. Andrew obtained a Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia in 1991, and is a certified Professional Engineer for the State of Georgia. Prior to establishing Construction Materials Services, Inc., Andrew spent 6 years working for the Georgia Department of Transportation Office of Materials and Research in the Bituminous Construction Branch at Forest Park, Georgia, and one year with Whitaker Laboratory (a Geotechnical Environmental Firm) in Savannah, Georgia.
Mitch Green is responsible for scheduling, directing and overseeing our group of testing technicians, as well as performing work in the testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt and other materials. He also manages the NPDES Storm Water program of the laboratory. His certifications include RTT Certification No. 07411, ACI Concrete Field Technician Grade 1, and the State of Georgia NPDES General Permit.
Mitch’s position is one of detail-orientation and good organization to assign work to be done and directing day to day activity within the laboratory, as well as field tests and related activities.
Herman Ryan has been with CMS since 1998, performing Asphalt and Concrete Mix Designs for a number of regular Contractors requiring approval for their designs by the Georgia Department of Transportation. Herman is a certified Asphalt Mix Design technician for both the State of Georgia and the State of North Carolina and is qualified to perform Level II Asphalt Plant Technician duties within Georgia.
